The 2018 John Milner Nutrition and Cancer Prevention Research Practicum will take place March 12-16, 2018, and is now accepting applications.  The application deadline is December 1, 2017.  The Practicum will be held at the National Cancer Institute in Rockville, Maryland, the NIH Clinical Center, and the USDA Beltsville Human Nutrition Research Center.

This week-long educational offering provides specialized instruction about the role of diet and bio-active food components as modifiers of cancer incidence and tumor behavior, and engages participants through didactic and interactive experiences.  The intent of the Practicum is to introduce participants to current research, expose them to available research opportunities, and lay the foundation for future researchers in diet and cancer prevention.

There is no cost to attend the Practicum.  However, room, board, and travel expenses are the responsibility of the participant.
