Getting involved in public policy is a rewarding experience, and you will have the opportunity to make an impact on nutrition-related policies. Some easy ways to get involved are to participate in action alerts, meet with your legislators, and be on the lookout for additional public policy opportunities and events with VAND.

RDNs, DTRs, Dietetic Interns, and students are invited to meet IN PERSON with our Virginia state legislators. We will meet in Richmond to discuss important food and nutrition legislation under consideration by the Virginia General Assembly during the 2024 session. Cost to register is $25 for members and $35 for non-members, and includes breakfast and 3 CEUs for the full event!
